The battle of P-FSQE was one of the earliest large scale battles in Eve, between the forces of Reikoku, Jericho Fraction, Evolution, NORAD, Fade Union and the Coalition of Deklein against the Pheonix Alliance.
The beginning of the great war between Goonswarm and the Band of Brothers community, the first of Eve's great wars that engulfed the entire cluster into one sprawling war over multiple regions and taking months to conclude.
The battle of O2O-2X was the first large scale clash of super capital ships, with a butcher's toll of 12 titans destroyed in the battle and thousands of dollars destroyed, it marked the retreat of the Northern Coalition in their war against the DRF.
The battle of Asakai began when a Titan pilot attempting to send reinforcements to the front line accidentally jumped his own Titan instead of his fleet to the battle. The resulting escalation and frenzy of reinforcements from both sides broke records.
The battle of 6VDT was the last major clash of the Fountain war between Test alliance and the CFC coalition. With the help of N3 and Tribal band, TEST mounted a final stand in their traditional system over their home station, but ultimately lost.
The end of the fountain war began a new cold war in the south between the N3 coalition and their allies, Pandemic Legion, against the victorious CFC coalition. The halloween war ended in the titanic clash of B-R5RB.
The battle of A24L-V was meant to end Triumvirate's war against the DRF, with the destruction of their keepstar. Instead it began a long, unending war in which Triumvirate and allies continued to fight and eventually displaced the DRF from the region.
The great battles of Eve Online
This was a series of images made to celebrate Eve's 15th anniversary, loosely recreating and dramatising some of the stand-out battles throughout Eve's history for a interactive museum we assembled for Fanfest.
It was a lot of fun researching the game's past and trying to formulate compositions and narratives from real game events.
Credit to the Eve online team for all the assets used, scenes assembled from our in-house tool, Jessica.
